Jesus and His People on Mission
Acts 7-8:3

Nothing can stop God’s sovereign plan of redemption. This truth grants us abiding assurance and unwavering confidence as we join Him in the spread of the Gospel message through which He rescues the lost.

1. Our church must prioritize
   A. Practical and equitable care of people
   B. A commitment to growing disciples.
   C. Courageous evangelism.

2. The Scriptures tell the story of God’s sovereign grace, though (tragically) man reject Him (7:1-53).

3. Even though the worst of tragedy and loss, the Lord Jesus will keep His promises to His people (7:55-60).

4. God used tragedy to further His providential redemption of the word (8:1-3).

Application for Our Congregation

1. Let us read and mediates deeply on the Scriptures this year discerning especially the promise of the Gospel story

2. Let us treat and obey the Lord Jesus to position us Strategically in engaging others with this hope.
